Instead of importing directly from Japanese auction sites, we import vehicles after they have been repaired at a Japanese repair shop. We only import vehicles that have passed the Japanese vehicle inspection system, so you can ride with confidence.

Competitive Prices

The owner of Disability Cars 4U is a car dealer with over 100 disabled vehicles in stock in Japan. By importing in cooperation with a Japanese company, we cut the middleman margin, so we can offer high quality cars at low prices.

  • Our history

In 2022, Disability Cars 4 U was founded by a team of 2 Japanese and 1 Kiwi. The idea came about from one of the directors Yoshi, who was already running a very successful wheelchair-accessible vehicle dealership in Japan, teamed up with Tatsu, an experienced vehicle exporter and buyer, who had lived and worked in New Zealand for more than 10 years. Yoshi and Tatsu then approached Matt, a Kiwi who had lived and worked in Japan for 5 years to complete the team.

Our mission is to develop a supply chain of mobility vehicles while at the same time developing a strong communication network between Japan and New Zealand to best support our customers. After significant market research into some of the needs of people with disabilities in New Zealand, we are now confident that we can further assist those looking for specific vehicles to make them mobile and live normal lives.

Our passion is to contribute to the community while offering a wider range of vehicles at competitive prices. We are not only here to sell you cars. We are here to assist you on your journey and make you mobile!
